- How do I uninstall the Quicksys RegDefrag?
1) Click on Start, Click on Control Panel
2) Double-click on Add or Remove Programs
3) Find the Quicksys RegDefrag listed and click on it
4) Click on “Remove”
- Does Quicksys RegDefrag support command line?
Yes. The syntax for the RegDefrag command line is: QRegDefrag.EXE -defrag [-noprogresswindow] [-reboot]
-defrag Defrag process operates in “silent mode” and enables the other switches.
-noprogresswindow Hides the progress window during defragmentation. (optional)
-reboot Automatically reboots the computer when defragmentation of the registry is complete. (optional)
- Do I need to uninstall the old version to install new version?
No. You can install newer versions on top of older versions.
- Can RegDefrag be installed silently?
Use a /SILENT or /VERYSILENT (no progress window) parameters when you run the installer.
- Do I need to be an administrator to use RegDefrag?
Yes. You have to be an administrator to install and use Quicksys RegDefrag.
- RegDefrag doesn’t work. What can I do?
Run Quicksys RegDefrag with parameter -WINDOWDIAG and send us your report to Feedback.
